What is SAC / SAF?  School Advisory Council (SAC) and School Advisory Forum (SAF) meet together once a month and not only work on making the school better, but they also work making sure families and the community have a voice. We encourage any community member that wants to have a part in shaping school policies to participate in SAC/SAF
SAC focuses on helping the school improve. This group looks at things like student achievement, school goals, and ways to make the school stronger for all students. If a school wants to improve reading scores, that would usually be a SAC discussion.

SAF focuses on parent/community voice. This group gives families and community members a place to share concerns, ask questions, and help make sure important issues are heard. If parents want to raise concerns about communication, safety, or school policies, that would usually be a SAF discussion.
