Every year, teachers across the country use their own funds to support their students and classrooms. Our amazing Harbordale teachers purchase many of their own school supplies and classroom materials to enhance their rooms and our students’ daily education. As part of the Harbordale community, we can help by participating in the HSA’s Adopt A Class program where 100% of the donations go directly to the teachers. With all the changes these past years, teachers have recreated lessons all while training and implementing new curriculums. Teachers are always buying new supplies to help them elevate their lessons for their students. So much is always asked of our teachers, the Adopt A Class program is a way to help provide some financial support.
We are seeking the support of friends, families and businesses to adopt our classrooms. Our goal is to have every classroom and every special department adopted. Our extraordinary special departments include Art, Music, Spanish, Physical Education, Guidance, Reading, Speech, ESE and Media Center. In past years, this program has been so successful because of the generosity of our donors.
We will list all of the wonderful business donors on the HSA site. We would like to show our support to these businesses that support us year after year.
We hope to get as many possible families and businesses to participate again this year. Adoptions can be made in $250, $150 and $50 increments. Teachers are fully adopted when they reach $500 for their class.
